ADMPS 2120 - STUDENT SERVICES MANAGEMENT

STUDENTS WILL LEARN ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED OF A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITYSTUDENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR. IT IS ASSUMED STUDENTSWILL HAVE ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITY IN FUTURE ASPECT OF STUDENT SERVICES. RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE DEVELOPMENT OF VISION &MISSION STATEMENT, DESIGNING ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE & BUDGET. FOCUS ON STRATEGIES TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE & ADMINISTERSTUDENT SERVICES OF DIVERSE COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES. EXPLORE HOW ORGANIZATIONAL THEORY CAN BE APPLIED TO IMPROVE POLICY MAKING, PERSONNEL MGT, RESOURCE ALLOCATION & ORGNIZTN OF ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS.
