The dean’s office at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education promotes life-changing leadership through its esteemed faculty and students. It is the central location where members of the school can come together to reform education and discuss improving teaching techniques.
We offer support to current students during their course of study, to professionals enhancing their current careers through continuing education, and to students at the time of graduation. The dean of the School of Education is the chief academic officer of the school and is responsible for overseeing all academic initiatives in educational research and development.
The staff in the dean’s office challenges faculty and students to develop a deep connection to the world of education and to create the building blocks so no child, at any educational level, is left behind.
