Linda Berardi-Demo is the Assistant Dean of Operations & Enrollment Management in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She oversees all of the operations of the School of Education including human resources and financial aid. The Office of Admissions and Enrollment Services, technology, and financial operations all report directly to her.
Berardi-Demo has 25 years of experience in higher education and has served in a variety of roles both at the University of Pittsburgh as well as other universities. Early in her career, she worked in undergraduate admissions and financial aid at Pitt and for the engineering school. She held the position as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid for Pitt’s Medical School from 1993-2005. She also served as the Dean of Enrollment at Robert Morris University before returning to Pitt to act in her current role.
Berardi-Demo has devoted most of her career to providing access and support to disadvantaged students at all academic levels from K-12 to higher education. She has a long standing commitment to this work.
In 1985, Linda Berardi-Demo received her bachelor’s degree in political science and earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993.
