The Dance Minor at the University of Pittsburgh prepares students to assume roles in dance education, dance performance and production. Students are provided knowledge in areas such as basic anatomy/kinesiology, pedagogy, history, production, ballet, modern and jazz dance technique. The students' interests are refined and explored in the two required teaching experiences which present students with the opportunity to demonstrate learned skills in a practical setting.
