Collective Bargaining - PA Strike Free Education Legislation Seminar

Published on 1/18/2012 2:26:00 PM

Public employee collective bargaining is a highly charged issue in many states, including Pennsylvania.

What legislation could affect collective bargaining for teachers in Pennsylvania? What are the issues that school leaders may face in the near future? Are there opinions that need to be heard? What positions should educational leaders take on proposed legislation regarding collective bargaining?

The University of Pittsburgh, School of Education’s School Leadership program is hosting an Advanced Practice Institute – a gathering of our educational leadership students and faculty to consider these emerging questions.

Advanced Practice Institutes, part of our Letter of Eligibility cohort program, provide an opportunity for our students to engage in meaningful professional dialogue with lawmakers, educational leaders, and university faculty.

We invite you to join us for this seminar.
