Admissions Requirements
- Completed School of Education Admissions Application.
- A non-refundable application fee of $50 (USD) by credit card, check, or money order payable to 'University of Pittsburgh'.
- Official, third-party evaluation of all international transcripts for applicants who have not received a master's degree within the United States. We strongly recommend using World Education Services (WES) to complete this service.
- Successful completion of a masters degree with a GPA of at least 3.5.
- Written sample of academic writing.
- Three letters of reference.
- GRE with a preferred minimum grade of 1100.
- TOEFL scores for foreign students from non native English speaking countries.
- A personal interview may be requested at the option of the admissions committee.

- Fall Application Deadline: Rolling admissions; however, priority given to applications received by March 1
- Spring Application Deadline: Rolling admissions; however, priority given to applications received by November 1
- Summer Application Deadline: Rolling admissions; however, priority given to applications received by March 1
