School Leadership - Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility
The University of Pittsburgh's School of Education has recently implemented a redesigned Letter of Eligibility program, focused on the education of scholar-practitioners who are prepared to become expert educational and executive school leaders. The eighteen-month, 24-credit program utilizes a cohort format to provide a supportive and reliable experience for the working professional and is organized around five areas of study: Leadership in a Changing World; Context, Culture, and Organization;
Leadership and Governance; Management and Finance; and, Inquiring Leadership. The program incorporates a variety of course delivery formats, including on-campus, online, and hybrid courses, as well as a summer Assessment Laboratory and topical Saturday Institutes.
