The Supervisor of Curriculum and Instructional certificate program is currently being redesigned to match the needs of today's K-12 professionals. Applications are not being accepted at this time.
We expect the program to be available in 2012.
The program goal is to prepare leaders to supervise curriculum and instruction at the school or district level who have the capacity to promote quality learning for students and teachers by establishing vision and focus, managing strategically, creating and using knowledge in decision making, and leading learning communities within social, economic, demographic, and political contexts.
An array of instructional approaches that include problem-based learning, web-based instruction, and clinical experiences engage students in critical thinking, critical reading, critical writing, and reflection about relevant educational issues.
