IL 2513 - INSTRNL METH-HIGH INCIDNC DISABS
THIS COURSE EXPLORES THE METHODS AND PROCEDURES FOR DEVELOP ING LITERACY FOR STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, MILD MENTAL RETARDATION, AND BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS. THE FOCUS OF THE FIRST 5 SESSIONS IS ON LEARNING TO TEACH YOUNG STUDENTS WHO HAVE EXTRAORDINARY DIFFICULTY; THE NEXT SECTIONS ADDRESS THE LITERACY NEEDS OF OLDER STUDENTS.
