Education Prerequisites
For Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) students, Introduction to Elementary Education must be taken prior to the start of the MAT program in the Summer II term.
The following approved clearances are required before taking Introduction to Elementary Education, Instructing English Language Learners, and Foundations of Special Education: Federal Criminal History Record, Act 34-PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and Act33/151 PA Child Abuse History.
