Academic Prerequisites
Minimum of 30 credits above the intermediate level in French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, or Latin. These credits should be distributed over Areas 1 and 2 as described below.

Education Prerequisites
For Professional Year (PY) students, the four education prerequisites must be taken prior to the Fall term of the PY program.
Evidence of a clear federal (FBI) criminal history clearance and clear state clearances (Act33/151-PA Child Abuse History and Act34-PA State Police Criminal Record Check) is required before taking Introduction to Foreign Language Education.
