Vision Studies - Doctor of Education (EdD)
The major goal of the EdD degree is the preparation of leadership personnel for service in the field of blindness and visual impairments. Graduates may serve infants, children, youth, and adults with blindness and visual impairment as teachers, or in roles as university professors or administrative personnel. It is expected that graduates of this program will have a significant impact on the quality of educational opportunities for persons who are blind and/or visually impaired by providing
leadership for local education agencies, state educational agencies, private foundations and agencies, and colleges and universities.
