Tom (CAS '68, EDUC '70G, '78G) and Elaine Meisner (CAS '68) feel like Pitt has always been a part of their lives. The Meisners met during their senior year, and they married in Heinz Chapel. Elaine even got her first job at the University of Pittsburgh.
In 2003, the Meisners felt that it was time to give something back to the institution that has been such a big part of their lives, so they created the Tom and Elaine Meisner Room for the School of Education. The Meisner Room is designed for seminar classes, and it features state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
