Teachers will be welcomed to public school faculties in small towns and villages in rural Bhutan, where they will carry a full teaching schedule. Teachers will be trained to integrate the Bhutanese concept of Gross National Happiness into their lesson plans and will be encouraged to provide support, advice, and training on Western teaching techniques to their local colleagues.

All teachers will attend a two-week orientation in Bhutan prior to beginning assignment.
Teachers have the full support of the BCF offices in Toronto and Thimphu (field office).
