EDUC 2001 - EDUCATNL PSYCH FOR INSTRUCTION
THIS COURSE FOCUSES ON THE MAIN IDEAS, RESEARCH FINDINGS, AND INSTRUCTIONAL IMPLICATIONS OF COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY FOR MAJOR TOPICS IN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (DEVELOPMENT, LEARNING, CURRICULUM, MEASUREMENT, AND CLASSROOM AND GROUP PROCESSES). BOTH CHILD AND ADULT LEARNERS ARE STUDIED. A PREMISE OF THE COURSE IS THAT INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES SHOULD BE RELATED TO COGNITIVE PROCESSES AND TO KNOWLEDGE ALREADY ATTAINED BY THE LEARNER.
