Communities in Action for Peace (CAP)

Communities in Action for Peace (CAP) is a MAPS-sponsored project. Its mission is to promote healthy communities by reducing violence and its causes in a nontraditional and culturally sensitive manner. This unique model brings together diverse people and perspectives from both established and grassroots organizations who share a commitment to creating safer communities. By providing ongoing support and sharing knowledge and resources, an effective countyside effort is created.
