- As a part of the spelling routine, after reading the word and writing the word, students spell the word using their silly voice.
- Some ideas for silly voices:
happy, sad, angry, animals, underwater, quiet, giant, echo

This activity will motivate both students and teachers. Even students in grade 3 like to do this. They like to come up with their own voices.
