I joined the IT team with an emphasis in instructional design. Faculty and I work together to craft blended and online courses that allow students to feel connected to the instructor, other students, and the course content.
As the admissions and enrollment systems administrator, I am interested in data systems, Macintosh computers, video, and general productivity tools. Apart from my general affinity for technology, I am also interested in training and office horticulture. Currently, I am also a student in the Master's in Information Science program.
I provide advanced computer support and troubleshooting for the School of Education faculty, staff, and students. I research, recommend, and purchase computer-related technology, as well as coordinate and implement advance solutions. I am the systems administrator for the School of Education’s workstations, labs, and servers. I am also a University computer account administrator.
As the School of Education's web and systems developer, I write and maintain programs, and manage databases for projects on the school's Web site and other areas.
I am the Help Desk Coordinator for the School of Education since October 2013. I am responsible for the student Technology staff for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer equipment throughout the school as well as providing support for other areas of the technology department.
