University of Pittsburgh School of Education

LGBTQIA+

The School of Education values the diversity of experiences and perspectives of our students by fostering an open and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, asexual, and ally students.

Pitt’s Office of LGTQIA+ Resources, sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, supports, educates, and advocates for members or allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. We strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance, as well as an environment where all students are able to thrive.

Resources
The following are a substantive, yet not exhaustive, list of resources that are meant to serve as a general guide to students of the LGBTQIA+ community who are looking for varying levels of involvement and/or support.
