Hi, my name is Maggie Sikora, and I'm the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services in the School of Education at Pitt. I initially joined the SOE as a Graduate Enrollment Manager in August 2009, after working in undergraduate admissions and obtaining my master’s degree in English at Gannon University. I have several years of experience working within the realm of higher education admissions, and I have enjoyed (and continue to enjoy!) helping students to achieve their goals of attending college and graduate school.
I currently serve as the admissions liaison for the following programs: Secondary Education (grades 7-12) - English and Communications Education; MEd programs in English and Communications Education (Pitt Online) and Foreign Language Education (with or without TESOL); PhD and EdD programs in Language, Literacy, and Culture (LLC); PhD program in Learning Sciences and Policy (LSAP). I thoroughly enjoy meeting and working with our diverse population of students and helping them to navigate through the admissions and enrollment processes.
