HPA 2268 - PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND HEALTH
EXAMINES THE ROLE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN PREVENTING DISEASE AND ENHANCING HEALTH. STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CONDUCT ON-LINE LITERATURE SEARCHES, READ AND SUMMARIZE PUBLISHED PAPERS, SUBMIT WRITTEN SUMMARIES OF THE LITERATURE AND PRESENT THE FINDINGS DURING IN-CLASS PRESENTATIONS. THIS COURSE IS INTENDED FOR UPPER LEVEL MASTERS AND DOCTORAL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY EPIDEMIOLOGY.
