Vision Studies - Master of Education (MEd) Overview

Applicants wishing to acquire a Master's of Education degree, in addition to certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and/or Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist have numerous program options. To add the degree, an applicant simply needs to complete 12-credits of additional graduate-level general education coursework to either the single TVI or O&M certification programs, or the dual certification programs. A student needs a minimum of 36-credits (which includes the 12-credits of graduate level courses) to acquire the Master's of Education degree.
