Higher Education Management Offers a Master of Education Degree and a Doctor of Education.
The Master of Education (MEd) specialization in Higher Education is a professional degree for the graduate student who wishes to pursue advanced study in academic administration or institutional management and who demonstrates a superior level of expertise and capacity for leadership in that field.
The program of studies for the Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Higher Education is designed specifically for individuals aspiring to administrative positions in post-secondary education. Program graduates are working in community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, and major research universities in the United States and abroad. They hold faculty posts as well as a wide variety of administrative posts that include: college presidents, academic vice presidents and deans, college presidents and deans of student services, directors of admissions, financial aid, resident life, and student activities.
