Due to the fact that the University is offering self-enrollment for classes starting in the Spring 2010 semester, the School of Education no longer offers their own online registration. All students should have received an email outlining the steps they need to take to register for their classes (a copy of the email is included below). You can get more information on the process by logging onto my.pitt.edu and clicking on the PeopleSoft tab.
Since this is a new process, there may be some minor issues for some students. Please don't hesitate to contact Admissions and Enrollment Services if you have any problems.
How to get started.
You have been assigned an Enrollment Appointment, which tells you the date/time when you are able to enroll in your classes for the spring semester.
Where to log in.
Log in to my.pitt.edu with your University Computer Account username and password. Next, click the 'Student Services' tab at the top of the page, and then click 'Link to Student Center'. Next, click 'Self Service' and then click 'Student Center'. Your Enrollment Appointment will be listed in the box entitled 'Enrollment Dates' on the right-hand side of the page. Once you have seen your advisor/know the courses in which you wish to enroll, you will enroll in those classes right from your Student Center page. (Undergraduate students cannot register without seeing their advisor who will remove an advising hold).
If you experience any trouble during self-enrollment, visit the Office of the Registrar in Thackeray Hall during office hours. You can also refer to the interactive demonstration (iDemo) video that is posted in the Student Services portal community. PLEASE NOTE: If you have any 'holds' on your account, you will not be able to register for classes. Please make sure to resolve these issuers prior to self-enrolling.
