Goals and Domains

To broker, link, translate, design, manage, and coordinate efforts between and among Office of Child Development (OCD) divisions and the community through OCD's internal governance and external activities.

Themes and Projects

  • Collaboratively organized, facilitates, and manages the groups Fathers Collaborative
  • Represents OCD on a variety of advisory boards and committees including Child Watch Advisory Board Serves on OCD's internal committees
  • Organizes, facilitates, and manages OCD internal activities including retreats, special events, Staff interest groups, and Brown Bags
  • Organizes, facilitates, and manages an annual family support conference attended by approximately 500 participants
  • Provides field placement experience for the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and other universities and colleges
  • Collaboratively organized, facilitated, and managed the Runaway and Homeless Youth Network, Child Abuse and Neglect Network, PLACE Coalition, and the Fathers Working Group
  • Collaboratively developed and managed the Pittsburgh International Children and Families Institute with Pressley Ridge Schools
  • Directed the Pennsylvania Parenting Grant - Non-Custodial Fathers Project, Children's Trust Fund Grant, Fathers Collaborative Law Clinic, Pennsylvania Access and Visitation Project-participate in the Project Scale, Non-Custodial Parent Economic Stability Training Program
  • Directed the federally-funded Runaway and Homeless Drug and Alcohol Prevention Project
