Family Support Fathers Project

Promoting Responsible Parenting Through Father Involvement

Through the Fathers Collaborative the Family Support Fathers Project brings a focus on fathers and services for both non-custodial and custodial fathers to five participating family support centers.

Goals

  • increase positive parenting among custodial and non-custodial fathers
  • provide training to custodial mothers increasing their understanding of the importance of father's involvement in their chill's developmental outcomes
  • initiate a dialogue with policy makers regarding the importance of including fathers in public policy that impact children and families
