Current Professional Participation
- International Reading Association (IRA)
- I attended the 21st World Congress on Reading/International Reading Associaction in Budapest, Hungary. My major purpose for attending the World Congress was to promote The Negro Educational Review. Moreover, my aim was to meet and talk with people from other countries about the journal. To do so, I selected sessions presented by non-US citizens and listened for issues of interest. Sessions were challenging. A few presenters expressed interest in submitting manuscripts for consideration to publish in the journal.
