John C. Weidman is Professor of Education and Sociology, and Chairperson, Department of Administrative and Policy Studies. From 2004 to 2007, he was Director of the Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE). In addition to graduate teaching, research and publication on issues of comparative and international as well as domestic education policy and management, he has consulted on projects in Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Viet Nam and Uzbekistan for the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and in Kenya, Kosovo, and South Africa for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
