- I was the discussant for the panel "Peruvian Development:The History of NGOs, Formation of the Organic Intellectual and Sustainability" at the Latin American Social and Public Policy Conference held in Pittsburgh, PA. The panel was organized by my doctoral student, LINC alumni, and CLAS Policy Fellowship holder, Chad Dorn. The panel featured five of the LINCS alumni.
- Participated in the annual Latin American Studies Festival weekend celebration and with tables featuring the multi-media documentation (video and scrapbooks)from the LINCS international service-learning program in Peru. We developed three new, targeted promotional sets of flyers, the LINCS students staffed the tables, and several were able to use it as part of their community extension exercise.
