Eastern District Assoc. is the regional assoc. for the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. It incorporates 11 Eastern states, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

- Board Member, Attack Theatre (a Pittsburgh based modern dance company)
- Honorary Board Member for Dance.Alloy.Theatre. I was a founding member and first director of this dance company.
- Day of Dance High School Dance Convention - This is an initiative to provide a one-day dance convention for local high school students.
School of Education-level Service
- Academic Affairs Committee working group on Distance Education
University-level Service
- Advisor to the Pitt Dance Ensemble This student organization has grown to approx. 120 students who take class every week and participate in dance related activities. This is an important organization for the Dance Minors in HPA.
- Spring Dance Performance - This is the students formal presentation of student, faculty and guest choreoraphy. All funding for technical assistance, costumes and guest teachers/choreographers comes from student government or the Pitt Dance Ensemble. Approx. 65 students participate in the performance. This is open to the public.
- Fall Informal Dance Concert/Dept. of HPA - Coordinated and produced a fall dance concert for approx. 110 students.
