Certificates and Certification Options

Our faculty leads the way in research and instruction – knowledge and experience that are passed on to our graduate students.

With well over $15 million in research funding, our faculty probe the issues that will shape education in the coming decades. We rank second among the schools of education in Pennsylvania, and 31st in the nation.

Our many graduate programs are designed to meet your schedule and help you reach your goals, whether you are seeking teacher certification or launching an academic career. We invite you to learn more about our programs to decide which one is right for you based on your career goals.

Below are all of the PA State Teacher, Administrative, and Supervisory certifications as well as professionally-based certifications offered by the School of Education. It should be noted that this list includes program options where a certificate can be earned in conjunction with a degree including our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degrees (Master's degree + PA State Teaching Certification).

What are the differences between the types of certificates?
