Normally open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week though may be closed for holidays, scheduled classes, and/or maintenance.

Need Access?
CGSE controls all access to the 24 Hour Lab.
The 24 Hour Doctoral Study Lab offers a 10-station lab to support the intensive work required to craft the dissertation. These stations are accessible only to doctoral students who receive special permission from a faculty member. In order to assure continued access to these limited resources, students must renew their application for access each term and should only be given
permission by a faculty member while they are actively engaged in dissertation or other doctoral research. This lab is also available for smaller full-engagement classes or seminars or other instructional uses as determined by the Director of Technology and Media Services and the Lab Manager.
Access to the 24 Hour Doctoral Study Lab is controled by the
Council of Graduate Students in Education (CGSE).

Services
Consultants in the Cooley 5th Floor Lab are available during normal Cooley 5th Floor Lab operating hours to answer any question. After normal lab hours there is a form available in the 24 hour lab that each student may record a problem or question that the lab consultants will pick up the next morning. The free CSSD software toolkit is also available during Cooley 5th Floor Main Lab hours.
