Cooley 5th Floor Main Lab

The PC Teaching Lab hosts a number of graduate (both Masters and Doctoral) level courses for teachers, school administrators, evaluators, policy analysts, and other educational decision-makers. The courses offer exposure to using computers to collect, manage, analyze and report data in a variety of settings, from a diversity of perspective, both quantitative and qualitative. For example, students have the opportunity to explore web-based datasets describing Pennsylvania schools, to code and analyze narrative data for theory-building, to learn and apply statistical procedures to real datasets, and to learn advanced techniques to prepare and present meaningful case summaries to influence educational policy.

Offering a full complement of Windows-based hardware and software for exploration through coursework and individual "open lab" time, the PC Teaching Lab provides a rich context for educational leaders to access and master computer-based technologies.
