Wellness Program Classes

Man Jogging

Aerobic Mix

Aerobic Medley class is a heterogeneous mixture of aerobic exercise, overall conditioning, and muscle development. The formats of these classes vary each session and include step aerobics, body sculpting, interval bench, and high-low aerobics.

Medicine Ball/Physio Ball/Body Sculpting

This class is designed to increase your strength, muscular endurance, balance, and tone through the use of medicine balls, physio-balls and various strength training equipment.

Body Sculpting

A controlled muscle conditioning class that works major muscle groups using weights. It is designed to increase muscular strength and endurance.

Yoga I

The philosophy of this class is to incorporate the mind and body during exercise. It involves strength, balance, deep muscle stretching and relaxation techniques.

Yoga II

A more advanced version for participants who have prior experience with Yoga.

Pilates

Core strength is the focus of this class. Muscular strength and endurance is enhanced through exercises centered around the abdominals and the lower back.

Yoga & Pilates

This multifaceted class incorporates your favorite Yoga moves and basic Pilates instruction for an overall dynamic workout.

Aerobic Fitness Boxing

A moderate to high intensity aerobic exercise that incorporates martial arts, boxing, and conditioning exercises.

Water Aerobics

A low impact moderate intensity aerobic activity. No swimming experience is necessary. Water aerobics is an excellent complement or alternative to traditional land-based aerobics. It is appropriate for those individuals with orthopedic problems that may limit their participation in high impact activities.

Beginning Swimming

Swimming class designed for beginning swimmers who have no prior experience. Stroke techniques, breathing methods, and treading water is covered.

Intermediate Swimming

Refined stroke methods are taught as well as diving & snorkeling techniques. Swimming endurance is the focus of this course.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a Chinese Martial Arts exercise that is primarily practiced for its health benefits, including a means for dealing with tension and stress. Tai Chi emphasizes complete relaxation, and is essentially a form of meditation, or what has been called "meditation in motion."

Social Dance

Just as it sounds, come prepared to dance!
