Admissions for Vision Studies - Orientation and Mobility Certificate

Students gaining admission to the O&M Vision Studies Program will be admitted into a fall term cohort. The preferred deadline date for fall admissions is June 1st, but applications are reviewed throughout the year. Questions regarding application to the VSP should be directed to Tessa McCarthy at, or by calling 412-648-7308.

Please Note: Evidence of a clear Act 33/151-PA Child Abuse History Clearance form, a clear Act 34-PA State Police Criminal Record Check form, and a clear Federal Fingerprinting form along with a few other clearances which ensure the safety of children are required before beginning any practicum in a public or private school. That means submitting these clearance forms no later than November 1st of the first Fall Term in the Program.
