Psychology in Education

The learning process is intrinsically linked to cognitive and psychological development. The programs within the Department of Psychology in Education (PSYED) are focused on this connection and finding ways to maximize an individual’s learning and comprehension potential.

Applied Developmental Psychology emphasizes child, adolescent, and adult development and how instruction, curriculum design, school administration, and policy can be designed to effectively accommodate individual needs for effective learning.

Research Methodology focuses on program study measurement, research design, and statistical methods – highly valuable information in today’s evidence-based atmosphere. This helps determine the success and effectiveness of programs and drives change.
