Military and Veteran Students

The Pitt School of Education is grateful to our current and former military members and their families for their service and sacrifice to our country. We value the importance of that experience and its positive affect on the classroom and leadership.

The University of Pittsburgh is perennially selected as a Military Friendly® School, a designation reserved for the top 15 percent of colleges and universities in the nation. Pitt’s Office of Veteran Services provides veterans, reservists, active-duty members and dependents assistance in obtaining their military education benefits, as well as pre-admission advising, mentoring from student veterans, and the tools to succeed academically.
