The University of Pittsburgh School of Education invites you to attend a Fall 2022 Admissions Open House for undergraduate and graduate students. Students interested in any program offered at the school are invited and encouraged to attend. Contact for more information.

What will be covered?

  • Meet with program faculty and current students
  • Learn about our admissions and financial aid processes
  • Discover important details about your program of interest


These events are for students interested in a master's, doctorate, or a graduate certificate or certification program. Current University of Pittsburgh students in their junior or senior year are welcome to attend. Community college students and students transferring from other institutions are also welcome to attend.

New Undergraduate Teaching Degree

Our school is offering a new Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education degree. This program will provide a four-year, undergraduate pathway to teacher certification in accordance in with Pennsylvania State Department of Education Guidelines. Sign up to receive more info about the program.

Work on Behalf of Equity and Justice

Become an advocate for equity and justice in education, and bring about positive change in the world. The PittEd Justice Collective is engaged in anti-racist, justice-directed initiatives with students, staff, faculty, alumni, families, youth, and district and community partners.

We are contributing to a future that is more equitable, engaging, well, and justice-directed. In this journey, we will continually explore how our nation's current moment of racial injustice and systemic oppression is situated within a history of struggle and survival and organizing and resistance.
