The Collaborative for Southwestern Pennsylvania Assistant School Superintendents - 183R09

Our Mission:

The Collaborative’s mission is to enrich public education in the southwestern Pennsylvania region by providing professional development, career enhancements, collaborative opportunities, and fellowship within a network of respected central office administrators.

The Global Competence Micro-grant program provides start-up grants to consortia of school districts that unite to address global competence issues. The program is supported by the Forum for Western Pennsylvania School Superintendents and is aligned with the Year of Pitt Global.
Seven groups of regionally located school districts competed for micro-grant funding intended to under-write new initiatives related to global competency among students and faculty in the schools. Micro-grants have, in the past, influenced collaboration and innovation among and across Forum school districts.
The Forum for Western Pennsylvania School Superintendents
