Feb. 12 and 13, 2016, presented approx. 60 students in a dance concert in the Stephen Foster Memorial Theater. Attendance was approx. 900 viewers over 2 days. This production is supported by the Dance Production 2 class.
I was an invited judge in this national dance competition held at the U. of Pittsburgh. 8 colleges from the U.S. competed in this national dance competition. Sponsored by the U. of Pittsburgh.
A dance workshop open to all students at Pitt was held at Trees Hall. This event supports the dance minor and allows university students to see what HPA has to offer for those students interested in dance and physical activity. Using the resources of faculty, guest instructors and dance minors we offered a variety of interesting dance technique classes for the students from 12:00-4:00p. This event was sponsored by the Dance Minor Program/HPA at the University of Pittsburgh.

The fall dance workshop takes place at Trees Hall. Various dance technique classes are offered to the students by professional faculty and advanced students. The purpose of the early workshop is to publicize our HPA Dance Minor, provide information about all of the classes and programs offered by HPA, and have a dance event where students can meet and dance with like-minded students.
I was an invited teacher and taught a master class in dance improvisation at the festival. I took Pitt students to the festival on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, where they took classes and performed at the festival.
This was the first in a series of workshops presented by HPA. The yoga workshop was jointly conceived and instructed by myself and Sally Sherman (a graduate HPA student). The workshops are an opportunity to support the students in HPA who want to learn more about various activities that support a healthy lifestyle.
In January, 2013 a small group of Dance Ensemble members performed for the Dean's Council meeting. The Dance Ensemble was one of only four student groups that were invited to present.
Presented the above for the Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance at -Springs Resort in Champion, PA. Participants were K-12 and higher education teachers.
Invited teacher for the Youngstown Dance Festival, Sunday, September 30, 2012. I presented a "Yoga for Dancers" class and an "Improvisation for Dancers" class. The presentations culminated with a performance by the participants.
