Veysel Gokbel is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Administrative and Policy Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He has diverse experiences in teaching, research, and leadership in various settings. His professional interests include entrepreneurship and innovation, edtech, mentoring, learning outcomes, productivity, internationalization, higher education management, and comparative and international education.
Veysel has worked as a market researcher, marketing coordinator, and program coordinator at higher education settings and consultant and managing director at startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Veysel is an alumnus of Innovation Institute’s Blast Furnace Startup Accelerator Program at the University of Pittsburgh and currently working on university-based entrepreneurship ecosystem building across the nation.
He is skilled in leadership, strategic planning, product management, program coordination, team management, market research, university-based entrepreneurship ecosystem building, report and article writing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, social media management, edtech, startup consulting and mentoring, and management consultation.
Veysel is proficient in major statistical analysis tools (SPSS, Stata, Nvivo, Qualtrics), major marketing automation and CRM tools (Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.), team and task management tools (Trello, Zoom, Slack), website management tools (Wordpress, Drupal), and able to learn other software and programming languages.
