Wes Vaina joined the School of Education as Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services in August 2019, building on a decade-long career in higher education. Wes manages a talented and caring team of admissions professionals who work to guide and support our prospective students as they prepare to study with the School of Education.
He previously served as an Admissions Counselor and Graduate Enrollment Manager at the University of Pittsburgh, and as Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Idaho.
He is a proud two-time Pitt Alumnus, with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Dietrich School, and his Master of Public Policy and Management degree from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
