Dr. Raquel Coelho is an Assistant Professor in the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information who holds a secondary appointment in the School of Education. She is also a Research Scientist at the university’s Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC).
Dr. Coelho’s research examines the application and theorization of emergent technologies in learning, grounded in learning sciences principles and human-centered frameworks. Her research interests include the design and study of AI-mediated learning environments and K–12 quantum information science education.
She holds a PhD in learning sciences and technology design combined with education data science from Stanford University.
