Kevin Joseph Mclaughlin
Clinical Instructor

Kevin McLaughlin is an educator and coach with more than 30 years of Aquatics experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, an Elementary Education Certificate, and a Master’s of Education from the University of Pittsburgh where he served as an athlete and Captain for the Pitt Swim Team. He is a 20-year certified Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross and has certifications in the following areas: Safety Training for Swim Coaches, Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid Health and Safety for Coaches, Concussion in Sports and Sudden Cardiac Arrest. As a faculty member in the Department of Health and Human Development, Kevin teaches many courses including Intermediate Swimming, Aquatic Conditioning, Lifeguarding, Lifeguarding Instructor, CPR/FPR-AED, First Aid, CPR & First Aid Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor, Lifetime Activities and Water Safety Instructor.
