An Education Degree for Leadership
The education doctorate degree (EdD) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education provides students with a comprehensive education in leadership, management of systems, and equity and justice.
Our EdD degree is 76 credits. Of that, students must take 52 new credits and transfer 24 credits from a previously completed master’s program (all subjects welcome). Students must have earned a grade of B or better for credits to quality.

- You will transfer in previously completed graduate coursework that will apply toward the degree
