“Community Engagement in Higher Education,” Edited by Faculty Members, Receives Honorable Mention for the Best Higher Education Book Award

The book, Community Engagement in Higher Education: Policy Reforms and Practice, edited by faculty members James Jacob, Stewart Sutin, John Weidman, and the late John Yeager, received Honorable Mention for the Best Book Award of 2017 from the Higher Education Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Comparative and International Education Society.

The Higher Education SIG serves as a “networking hub for promoting scholarship opportunities, critical dialogue, and linking professionals and academics to the international aspects of higher education. Accordingly, this SIG will serve as a professional forum supporting development, analysis, and dissemination of theory-, policy-, and practice-related issues that influence higher education.”
