Dr. Christina Frasher is a visiting faculty member in the Health and Human Development Department. She brings over 15 years of experience working and teaching in the helping professions. She has worked in behavioral health and foster care and adoption settings, supporting neurodivergent individuals, marginalized youth, trauma survivors, and veterans.
Before coming to the School of Education, she worked at Pitt’s Center for Teaching and Learning and at Duquesne University’s Center for Teaching Excellence focusing on inclusive instructional design and contemplative and well-being practices in higher education.
She’s a proud Pitt alum (BA in English Literature and Religious Studies), and has an MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University.
