An Organization for Future Teachers
Future Educators of America (FEA) is an undergraduate club designed to help equip future teachers with the skills they need to be successful. Through volunteer opportunities at local schools as well as education and career development workshops, our students give back to the Pittsburgh community while simultaneously gaining professional skills.
FEA members also meet other students who have similar goals and learn about teacher education programs at Pitt Business, such as our Master of Arts in Teaching, Instructional I Teaching Certificates, dual-certification offering known as MOSAIC, and five-year bachelor’s/master’s program in applied developmental psychology and instruction and learning known as CASE.
FEA members can participate in a variety of volunteer events, including tutoring at after-school programs at Sci-Tech and UPrep High School and making snack bags for children at the Ronald McDonald House.
FEA meets every other Monday during the fall and spring semesters at 9:00 p.m.
