Andrea Zito joined the Pitt School of Education in 2012 and currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Student Engagement. Andrea has more than two decades of experience in higher education and has worked in academic advising, career and workforce development, community outreach, new and transfer student orientation, probation and retention, disability services, admissions, freshman programs, and student records.
She is committed to assisting and empowering students as they navigate the collegiate landscape and proudly serves as a student advocate.
Andrea has Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Master of Education (Mental Health Counseling) degrees from Ohio University and a Doctor of Education (Administration and Policy Studies/Higher Education Management) degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
