What is teacher certification?

Our faculty-led courses embody an essential combination of research and clinical-based instruction, providing you with up-to-date knowledge and on-the-job experience that will lead to your success as a professional educator.
The MAT program options
, listed below, offer you the opportunity to simultaneously gain a Master of Arts in teaching degree and meet the requirements to obtain a Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate. Our MAT program also offers the most current curriculum selections, a collaborative cohort structure, and an innovative mix of online and hybrid courses.
